Ergonomics I

Workspace 1 (untidy)
  • Non-user friendly chair (uncomfortable)
  • the monitor is very far away (hard to see)
  • angle of the lighting is improper (poor lighting)
  • chair is not 'flexible' and non-movable (uncomfortable)
  • improper angle of laptop (uncomfortable to use)
  • messy and improper desk space (disorder environment)
Workspace 2 (user-friendly)
  • User-friendly seating (comfortable)
  • Adjustable monitor (easy to see)
  • Freely-movable lamp (Good lighting)
  • Movable and flexible chair (comfortable environment)
  • Easy use of laptop with holder (comfortable to use)
  • Tidy and more free space (user-fiendly environment)

Workspace 2 is preferred as the arrangements and the environment is user-friendly.

Consideration: Make sure that the user deserves a comfortable and liking of their workspace.

Ergonomics helps us to consider the user and their needs.
